THE CEREMONY

I believe in the sacredness of ceremony and am very enthusiastic about what I do. I write unique ceremonies and offer all of you many alternative ideas and ways to create a ceremony made just for you, every aspect is created with originality and adjusted to meet your individual needs, as each and every one of us is unique, and we all have very different views on what we want in our the ceremony.  This is where my fresh approach and creative ideas bring forth that eternal smile when you remember your special day.

A ceremony should be a reflection of your true thoughts and feelings; it can be intimate and simple or a lovely gathering of family and friends.  You can have your ceremony at one of Cairns many tropical magnificent beaches, in one of our beautiful chapels or reception venues even one of Cairns magnificent tropical garden settings.  We can create a romantic atmosphere to suit your needs. With beautiful poems and readings, especially selected verses I have written and incorporate uniquely into your vows, your wedding day will be unforgettable in Far North Queensland.

I can supply at no extra charge a lovely table draped in a shimmering white, silver or gold, a chair covered in white and CD player, my table has a few tropical treasures I place on it and a symbolic white feather pen.  I also give you a beautiful bound copy of your ceremony as a keepsake in gold or silver presented in a specially designed folder with your wedding certificate.

IDEAS FOR YOUR CEREMONY

I believe that I am not only here to conduct the ceremony but willing to add other things to your ceremony to make it special.  Recently I did a wedding at the gardens for a couple, the groom is a fisherman and the bride wanted the land and sea brought together, I have a huge fishing rope, we made a lovely heart shape out of it and the couple stood in whilst doing their vows, it was very symbolic for them.

Many couples choose to come to Far North Queensland to Elope, most just come by themselves or with two friends, Cairns on dusk is magnificent at any number of our tropical beaches, I have candle holders I bury into the sand in a semi circle and you can get married by candle light, it is so moving and romantic with a lovely harpist or violin player strumming away quietly in the background.

For some couples it is just as important to include their children in the ceremony, weather it is two new families blending together or their own children, special vows can created, family blessings can be done, a child could give his/her mother away to the groom, special certificates can be presented, gifts blessed by the parents can be given, I have many unique ideas to make your union absolute.
